BMW is entering a new era with the iX3. The first production model of the Neue Klasse aims to impress with high efficiency, enormous range, new software, and bidirectional charging. But how well does the overall package work in everyday life? We tested the BMW iX3 50 xDrive for two weeks on highways, country roads, in city traffic, and as a mobile power storage unit – and encountered some surprises along the way.
