With its new GT models, Mercedes-AMG now aims to convert even petrolheads to electromobility. To do this, AMG not only tempts them with spectacular performance and charging figures but also tricks them into thinking there’s a V8 in the back—even though there isn’t. Perfectly executed, but still a bluff. The sleek four-door is the flagship - yet the SUV is likely where much of the business lies. We took both for a test drive.
